I’m in love with you, and I’m not in the business of denying myself of the simple pleasure of saying true things. I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you.
Don’t settle down and sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon. You are still going to live a long life, Ron, and it would be a shame if you did not take the opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience. You are wrong if you think Joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience. We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living.
Dare yourself to climb all the way up and take delight in falling. Then find the courage within yourself to climb and fall all over again.
